Water color painting can be tough ! A single picture, i painted 3 times. But still not satisfied with outcome ! Second time, everything went well, but road in the picture became dark. Alas !!! what to do?! One bad (also good) thing about water color painting is, once you paint a portion of paper, you can't "undo" it. This makes water color painting challenging. To become master, one has to know these "secrets" of water color.  Now coming to my painting, I liked second painting somewhat. So i decided to "fix" it. I tried painting white on dark road. Yes it "fixed" the painting to some extent ! But using white color in water color painting is "prohibited".

ಪತ್ರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ನನ್ನ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು, ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ಊರಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮನೆ ಅಡುಗೆ ಮನೆ ಕಿಟಕಿ ಇದೆ ರೀತಿ ಇದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಇದನ್ನ paint ಮಾಡಿದೆ.

One more sketch from my college days ! There was a story about rag picker boy in a story book. He becomes literate at the end of the story. Photos in this book attracted me. I started sketching those in my practical record book. One such sketch is here in this post!
